Product Orders: Dispatch and Delivery

  1. Our products are for sale to adults over the age of eighteen (18) years in Australia. By proceeding to purchase through our website, you acknowledge that you are over 18 years of age. Under the Australian Liquor Act of 1990 it is an offence: for liquor to be delivered to a person under the age of 18 years or for a person under the age of 18 years to purchase liquor. Severe penalties apply in both instances.
  2. We supply and despatch our products to customers within Australia only.
  3. We endeavour to ensure that our product list is current however we give no undertaking as to the availability of any product advertised on our website.
  4. Physical goods may be delivered by Australia Post and/or other reputable courier companies.
  5. Deliveries are processed promptly upon receipt of full payment.
  6. Delivery may take between 4 and 14 working business days, depending on the delivery option.
  7. Damaged or lost orders should be resolved with Australia Post or the courier company directly and we are not responsible for goods that are damaged in transit or not received.
  8. Replacement of damaged or lost items is made at the discretion of Southern Wild Distillery.
  9. Customers will be notified of out of stocks and offered a refund or the option to wait for the product to arrive in our warehouse.
  10. Digital goods are delivered immediately.
  11. Please be aware there are inherent risks associated with downloading any software and digital goods.
  12. Should you have any technical problems downloading any of our goods, please contact us so we may try to assist you.
  13. Southern Wild Distillery only ship physical goods within Australia, we do not ship internationally.
  14. All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST. Our price list can be accessed from our home page and we reserve the right to amend our prices at any time.
  15. Packaging and postage is an additional charge, calculated at time of purchase.
  16. When you order from us, we require you to provide your name, address for delivery, your email address, telephone contact and credit card details. We undertake to take due care with this information; however, in providing us with such information you accept that we are not liable for its misuse due to error in transmission or virus or malware.
  17. We undertake to accept or reject your order within 7 days. If we have not responded to you within 7 days, your offer is deemed to be rejected.  We are not required to give reasons for rejecting your offer to purchase however the most likely reason for rejecting your offer will be that we do not currently have that product in stock.
  18. Delivery of your ordered product/s will be as set out on our website. Title in the goods passes to you when we have received payment.  Our terms of payment are set out on the order page.
  19. All risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you when we despatch the goods.
  20. Permission to leave wine unattended/signature not required by selecting our “Permission to leave wine unattended/signature not required” option, or if you do not select our “Permission to leave wine unattended/signature not required” option but have an authority in place with your local delivery centre giving permission to leave articles at the address you nominate, then you authorise the courier to leave the goods unattended at the delivery address and you accept that once the courier has done so, the complete order has been received.
  21. Southern Wild Distillery, and contractors associated with the delivery, do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which results from the Permission to leave wine unattended/signature not required method. You agree to release Southern Wild Distillery from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of this Authority to Leave.
  22. Please note that under certain circumstances Southern Wild Distillery may not be able to leave your delivery as directed under a Permission to leave wine unattended/signature not required. In these instances, your complete order will be delivered to your nearest Australia Post office or delivery centre for your collection. Please also note our courier drivers cannot call before delivery.
  23. Southern Wild Distillery is an Australian-based company, licensed to sell alcohol and other products to Australian residents. As such we are only able to deliver goods to addresses in Australia. If you wish to have a purchase delivered to an address outside of Australia, you will need to make your own arrangements with your own shipping agent. Southern Wild Distillery will not be responsible in any way for delivery outside Australia arranged by you.
  24. Deliveries of purchased goods from Southern Wild Distillery are usually made from Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm. Most orders will be delivered to your door, however in rural or remote areas the delivery may be left at the nearest Australia Post office or delivery centre. Please note drivers cannot call before delivery.
  25. A signature may be required for delivery. If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery the courier will leave a note for collection by you from the nearest Australia Post office or delivery centre. The person collecting the goods from the Collection point must be 18 or over and able to present identification corresponding to the name of the consignee. If the order is not collected within 10 working days, it may be returned to Southern Wild Distillery and additional handling costs plus freight charges will be applied to a request for re-delivery.
  26. Southern Wild Distillery will not deliver alcohol to anyone less than 18 years of age. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If the recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID then the delivery driver will be unable to leave the alcohol.
  27. When purchasing goods online there may be an option to write a “Note” to Southern Wild Distillery which may or may not be used by the courier or deliver driver. We are not liable for any instructions by you which are not followed by the courier or delivery person.
  28. Southern Wild Distillery cannot be held responsible for deliveries to incomplete addresses provided by customers. If the address is incorrect and the delivery is made, the customer assumes responsibility for the entire purchase. If the address is incorrect and/or the delivery is refused or unable to be completed, then the order will be returned to our distribution centre and additional handling costs plus freight charges will be applied to a request for re-delivery. If the address is incorrect and the delivery is refused or unable to be completed and the customer chooses no re-delivery then a handling charge and all applicable freight charges will be deducted from any refund made. To avoid these costs, we recommend that you double-check your address details to ensure that all information provided is correct and in full.

Product Returns Policy

  1. We undertake to reimburse you for any product delivered to you that is faulty. If you wish to return a faulty or damaged product, you must notify us through our designated “contact us” webpage where we set out our requirements relating to return of such goods.
  2. We are not liable for any product damaged in transit by the courier company, Australia Post or a delivery driver.
  3. If we are unable at the time of return to replace or exchange returned goods, we undertake to reimburse your credit card for the amount initially debited for the purchase including packaging and postage charges on to the same credit card which was initially used for the original purchase.
  4. Southern Wild Distillery handles returns and processes refunds in accordance with the Australian Consumer Protection legislation. Please notify us within 12 days of purchase if you wish to return your order.
  5. You must have a valid reason for the return of your order.
  6. You will need to pay the freight for any order which is returned for any reason. The return freight may be debited from any transaction deemed a refund by Southern Wild Distillery.
  7. All refunds are made at the discretion of Southern Wild Distillery.
  8. If we are unable to resolve your complaint or further assist you, we will process a refund upon timely receipt of the goods purchased.
  9. Unopened goods will be refunded in full. Refunds will be processed promptly and payment made by the same method that you made payment.
  10. Risk of damage, loss or deterioration to product passes to the buyer upon delivery and therefore no refunds are offered for products that are damaged after delivery.
